APPROVED 03/18/2024 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES MARCH 11, 2024 THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE RICHMOND CITY COUNCIL WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 4:01 P.M. ON MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2024 BY MAYOR RIX. ROLL CALL Present: Allen, Misteravich, Reindel, Rix, Schultz Absent: LaFore, Warn Others: City Manager Moore, City Clerk McCallister Visitors: None Motion by Reindel, seconded by Schultz excuse Councilors LaFore and Warn from today’s Special Meeting (LaFore due to medical and Warn due to being out of town). AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION None ADOPTION OF AGENDA Motion by Reindel, seconded by Schultz, to adopt the agenda as presented All yeas Motion passes ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION 1. Consideration of Sanitary Sewer Request – Weeks Food Corp., LLC Motion by Schultz, seconded by Allen, to approve the request from Weeks Food Corp., LLC (36901 Division Road) to connect to the City’s sanitary and storm sewer utilities for the following considerations 1. Weeks Food Corp., LLC provide the City with a storm sewer easement 2. Weeks Food Corp., LLC provides $14,750 ($12,250 toward future sewer work and a tap fee of $2,520). CCSpecialMtg: 03/11/2024 Page 1 of 2  APPROVED 03/18/2024 3. Any future discussions of an Urban Limits Agreement will include Richmond Township and is not part of this agreement. Discussion on motion: In order to properly drain Dow Street with curb and gutters, the City requires an easement from Weeks in order to bring the storm drain from Howard Street north to set a manhole/structure in front of Weeks. The storm line will then be bored under the CN tracks to the drain that runs along the west side of the tracks. It was noted that the existing line can accommodate the tap-in. It is with the understanding that Weeks Food Corp., LLC will be responsible for the cost to install the pipeline across the road to property (36901 Division Rd.). No further comments were received.
