REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES MARCH 12, 2015 THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE RICHMOND PLANNING COMMISSION WAS CALLED TO ORDER ON THURSDAY, MARCH 12, 2015, AT 7:27 P.M., BY ACTING CHAIRMAN PENTZIEN ROLL CALL Present: Durkee, Kaminski, Moore, Pentzien, Roberts, Weinert Absent: McClellan, Rix Others: City Planner Jeschke, City Clerk Stagl Visitors: None Motion by Moore, seconded by Weinert, to excuse Commissioners McClellan and Rix, due to being out of town. All yeas Motion passes APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by Moore, seconded by Kaminski, to approve the minutes of the January 8, 2015, regular meeting as presented. All yeas Motion passes AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION None. CORRESPONDENCE - City Council Meeting Minutes of January 5, 2015 - City Council Meeting Minutes of January 19, 2015 - City Council Meeting Minutes of February 2, 2015 - City Council Meeting Minutes of February 16, 2015 Motion by Kaminski, seconded by Weinert, to receive and file the correspondence as presented. All yeas Motion passes PCM: 03/12/2015 Page 1 of 2 ADOPTION OF AGENDA Motion by Moore, seconded by Durkee, to adopt the Agenda as presented. All yeas Motion passes PUBLIC HEARING None scheduled. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION B-1. Review of the Master Plan Update – Community Facilities Analysis Commissioners reviewed two sections of the Master Plan: 1. Community Facilities and 2. Main Street and Gratiot Avenue Corridor Plans. No major changes were made. Grammatical corrections and language changes will be made by the Planner and incorporated into the final draft which will again be presented to the Commission for final review. MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS FROM THE CITY STAFF City Manager Moore – The City Hall project is moving forward. City Planner Jeschke – Will be at training in Lansing on the next Planning Commission Meeting date – if no agenda items, may cancel the meeting. COMMENTS FROM CHAIRMAN AND COMMISSION MEMBERS Durkee – Has been involved with the Robotics Club Pentzien – Eberhards has been sold - Commented on the condition of MacMartin’s property ADJOURNMENT Motion by Moore, seconded by Roberts, to adjourn the regular Planning Commission Meeting at 8:46 p.m. All yeas Motion passes Respectfully submitted: Karen M.
