All yeas Motion passes APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by Weinert, seconded by Frank, to approve the minutes of the June 9, 2022, regular meeting as presented. All yeas Motion passes ADOPTION OF AGENDA Motion by Misko, seconded by Frank, to adopt the agenda as presented. All yeas Motion passes PUBLIC HEARING None. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION B-2. TXT-02-2002 – CITY OF RICHMOND – Request for a Text Amendment to Section 25.02 (Definitions) to amend what is considered to be a Recreational Vehicle After much discussion amongst the Planning Commission, the consensus of the Planning Commission was that they were in favor of the Text Amendment to Section 25.02 and will be placed on a meeting for a public hearing at a future Meeting. MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS FROM THE CITY STAFF PCM: 07/14//2022 Page 2 of 3  APPROVED 9/15/22 City Manager Moore assured Commissioners that the activity involving Homeland Security last week was not associated with the new tenant that came before Planning Commissioners the prior month but only involved the old tenant. Moore also highlighted upcoming local events such as Starr Craft Brewery’s 3rd Anniversary, Richmond’s Community Garage Sale and the RAHGS Fiber Festival. Planning Director Jeschke gave notice to Commissioners that he will be attending the Michigan Association of Planning Conference in October and will miss the Planning Commission Meeting. CHAIRMAN AND COMMISSION MEMBERS Kaminski – Complimented the paving at the AUD and also prompted a discussion of the recent accidents that have happened on the roadway near Gratiot, County Line Rd. and Muttenville Ln. and would like roadways to be reviewed. City Manager Moore informed Commissioners that MDOT and possibly the Transportation Safety Institute are looking at the entire road system near that area as it involves several jurisdictions. Weinert – Wanted clarification of the reference wording regarding the Pavilion Beer Tent flooring. Zink – Inquired of the status of the Planning Commission vacancy and would like to see it filled with an individual to diversify the current committee. City Manager Moore indicated there have been attempts by Mayor Rix to acquire a new member but is still on-going search.
