MINUTES RICHWOOD CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD MEETING Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 6:00 PM BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood Crime Control and Prevention District Board will meet Wednesday, May 11, 2022, beginning at 6:00 PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531 with the following agenda: I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. II. ROLL CALL OF BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT Randy Day Buster Primm Randy Acord Lauren LaCount Leslie Klug ABSENT Katherine Venegas III. PUBLIC COMMENTS There was no public comment. IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Called meeting held January 27, 2022 Motion to approve. Motion made by Lauren LaCount, Seconded by Leslie Klug. Voting Yea: Randy Day, Buster Primm, Randy Acord, Lauren LaCount, Leslie Klug V. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Receive, discuss and consider the 2021 End of Year Report. Chief Mayer presented the end of year report. Discussion held on crime trends within the city. Discussion held on staffing and any shortage concerns. B. Discuss and consider upcoming community outreach efforts. Chief Mayer Presented Discussion held on Blue Santa. C. Discuss and consider FY 2023 budget requests. Chief Mayer presented. Discussion held on vehicles requested and existing fleet vehicles. Lauren reccomend the committee put it on record that they are okay with the recent vehicle purchase being use as unmarked administrative vehicle. Dicussion held on crime prevention overtime budget. VI. SET NEXT MEETING DATE June 16, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. VII. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Approve admin vehicle VIII. ADJOURNMENT Motion to adjourn. Motion made by Buster Primm, Seconded by Randy Acord.
