RICHWOOD CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD
MEETING
Thursday, February 09, 2023 at 6:00 PM
BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood Crime Control and Prevention District Board will meet Thursday, February
09, 2023, beginning at 6:00 PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531
with the following agenda:
I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
David Thompson led prayer before we got started.
II. ROLL CALL OF BOARD MEMBERS

Buster Primm
Randy Acord
Lauren LaCount
Leslie Klug
David Thompson
ABSENT
William Yearsin
Others present: Stephen Mayer, Chief of Police; Kirsten Garcia, City Secretary
III. PUBLIC COMMENTS
There was no public comment.
IV. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS
A. Discussion and possible action approving an amendment to the FY 23 CCPD Budget, increasing the
vehicle line item by $77,840.00 for the purchase of two vehicles previously budgeted for FY 2022.
Chief Mayer presented.
Motion to approve an amendment to the FY 23 CCPD Budget, increasing the vehicle line item by
$77,840.00 for the purchase of two vehicles previously budgeted for FY 2022.
Motion made by Buster Primm, Seconded by Lauren LaCount.
With all members present voting aye, the motion carried.
B. Discussion and review of CCPD expenditures in the fiscal year 2023, year to date as of February 6,
2023.
Chief Mayer presented.
Discussion held on Radar Trailer purchase.
Discussion held on training for officers.
Discussion held on active shooter preparedness.
Discussion held on overtime.
Discussion held on revenues.
Discussion only, no action taken.
