MINUTES RICHWOOD CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD MEETING Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 6:00 PM BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood Crime Control and Prevention District Board will meet Thursday, April 27, 2023, beginning at 6:00 PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531 with the following agenda: I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Called meeting held February 9, 2023 Motion to approve. Motion made by Lauren LaCount. Voting Yea: Randy Day, Buster Primm, Randy Acord, Lauren LaCount, Leslie Klug, William Yearsin V. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Discuss and consider the 2022 End of the Year Annual Report. Chief presented the annual report. Discussion held on metrics regarding our stats compared to surrounding communities. Discussion held on clearance rates versus conviction rates. Discussion held in crime percentage per capita. Discussion held on traffic contact stats. B. Discuss and consider current fiscal year overtime account. Chief Mayer presented. Discussion held on usage of remaining funds.  Discussion held on enforcement effects on crime. C. Discuss and consider current fiscal year tools expenditures. Chief presented. Discussion held on savings and additional purchases. D. Discuss and consider current fiscal year training & travel expenditures. Chief presented. Discussion held on training opportunities and keeping officers with the city. Discussion held on which officers attend training. E. Discuss and consider current fiscal year uniform expenditures. Chief presented. Discussion held on vests. F. Discuss and consider upcoming needs for Fiscal Year 2024. Chief Mayer presented. Discussion held on vehicle needs. Discussion held on future needs and expenditures. Discussion held on future expenses that will not be covered by general fund. VI. SET NEXT MEETING DATE July for PH - July 13, 2023 VII.
