MINUTES RICHWOOD CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD MEETING Thursday, June 06, 2024 at 6:00 PM BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood Crime Control and Prevention District Board will meet Thursday, June 6, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531 with the following agenda: I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. II. ROLL CALL OF BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT Randy Day Randy Acord Leslie Klug Steve Mesker ABSENT Buster Primm David Thompson Lauren LaCount III. PUBLIC COMMENTS There was no public comment. IV. FY 2024-2025 ANNUAL BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING A. Discuss, consider, and possible action on the FY 24-25 Crime Control and Prevention District annual budget. Chief Mayer discussed the fund balance, requested items, and remaining balance following. Not more than $60,000.00 for the purchase of a new police pursuit vehicle. Not more than $55,000.00 for the purchase of the fence to secure the back of the building. Not more than $28,000.00 for the purchase of the Bolawraps. $15,000 for police training. $15,000 for social harm prevention. $10,000 for Community Outreach. $10,000 for Uniform replacement. Motion to approve the FY 24-25 budget requests. Motion made by Leslie Klug, Seconded by Steve Mesker. Voting Yea: Randy Day, Randy Acord, Leslie Klug, Steve Mesker  Motion carried. V. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Discuss data analysis and project completion of the LED stop sign project at Cardinal Drive and Hummingbird Court. Chief Mayer discussed the effort. Discussion only, no action taken. B. Discuss finalization of the police patrol fleet downsizing effort. Chief Mayer discussed the effort. Discussion only, no action taken. VI. SET NEXT MEETING DATE No discussion. VII. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS No discussion. VIII. ADJOURNMENT Being there no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:34 p.m. The City Council may go into Executive Session on any item listed on the Agenda in accordance with Section 551-071 of the Government Code (attorney-client privilege).
