BE IT KNOWN that the CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD of
the City of Richwood will meet in Crime Control and Prevention District Board Meeting on
Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 6:00 PM at 1800 N. Brazosport Blvd., Richwood, TX 77531 at the
Richwood City Hall in the Council Chambers with the following agenda:

A. Discussion and consideration of COVID-19
Chief mayer gave PD update to committee
Lauren asked if CCPD would need to help with OVER time accrued for Disaster Declaration
Chief said no.
B. Discussion and consideration regarding status of CCPD FY 19/20 training funds
Chief presented current status on Training
Acord asked if trainings are on hold due to covid
Chief says yes
C. Discussion and consideration regarding status of CCPD FY 19/20 uniform funds
Chief stated the monies went to baseball caps
D. Discussion and consideration regarding status of CCPD FY 19/20 community outreach funds
Chief stated half of the money has been spent, but the rest may not be used due to covid 19
restrictions
E. Discussion and consideration regarding status of CCPD FY 19/20 Vehicle Reman funds
Primm asked if the reman has been completed
Chief stated yes, the Taurus has been great, but the crown vic has continued to have issues.
F. Discussion and consideration regarding status of CCPD FY 19/20 equipment funds
G. Discussion and consideration regarding status of CCPD FY 19/20 Criminal Investigator funds
H. Discussion, consideration, and action regarding FY 20/21 funding of the Criminal Investigator
Position.
Chief presented – stated that 2 year ago, we agreed that ccpd would cover until 2021 it would
roll over to general fund. CM has decided to go ahead and request the inv in general for the
20/21 year.
Lauren motion to no longer fund inv, kathryn second, all in favor carries
I. Discussion, consideration, and action regarding FY 20/21 equipment needs and
authorization to acquire and expend funding.
Req 3 led light bar, 3 laptop, 2 center console, 2 control heads, and 11 load bearing
vests.
Kathy asked if they would still be ballistic and Primm asked if they would be
comfortable
Buster motion to approve, lauren 2nd – all ayes - carries
J. Discussion, consideration, and action regarding FY 20/21 Community Outreach Program and
authorization to continue and expend funding
Chief asked if we could continue to fund for outreach.
Kathryn motion to fund 10k to outreach,
K. Discussion, consideration, and action regarding FY 20/21 Capital Improvement Project(s) and
authorization to acquire and expend funding
Chief stated he was requesting 120k for 2 chevrolet tahoes
Lauren asked if we were selling the old ones, would the money come back to CCPD since we are
purchasing the new ones.
She also asked if we were going to changing all the vehicles over to tahoe over the years.
L. Discussion, consideration, and action regarding FY 20/21 training goals and authorization to
expend funding.
M. Discussion, consideration and action regarding FY 19/20 & FY 20/21 Municipal Court Bailiff
Position.
Lauren motion to approve I,J,K,L and strike item M, total $150k, buster 2nd – all ayes - carries
