Minutes of the Crime Control and Prevention District Board The Crime Control and Prevention District Board called Meeting of August 5, 2021 BE IT KNOWN THAT, a Crime Control and Prevention District Board of City of Richwood was held August 5, 2021, beginning at 6:00 PM PM in the Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N, Richwood, Texas 77531. I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. II. ROLL CALL OF BOARD MEMBERS David Acord: Absent Randy Day: Present Leslie Klug: Present Lauren LaCount: Present Buster Primm: Present Katherine Venegas: Absent Kathy Vickers: Absent Others present: Kirsten Garcia, City Secretary; Patricia Ditto, Finance Director. III. PUBLIC COMMENTS There was no public comment. IV. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Discuss and consider amending the FY 21-22 CCPD budget. Kirsten and Tricia presented. Discussion was held on dispatch costs and services. Discussion held regarding prior funding. The committee agrees to cover server and supplement the budget for this year for dispatch services, but not future years. Motion to pay for vehicle previously planned to purchase from fund balance, fund the difference of dispatch and the server, This motion, made by Lauren LaCount and seconded by Randy Day, Passed. Yea: 4, Nay: 0 1  Motion to approve the budget as presented. This motion, made by Lauren LaCount and seconded by Leslie Klug, Passed. Yea: 4, Nay: 0 V. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Update on dispatch bids.
