MINUTES KEEP RICHWOOD BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION MEETING Tuesday, September 09, 2025 at 6:00 PM BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood Keep Richwood Beautiful Commission will meet Tuesday, September 9, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531 with the following agenda: I. CALL TO ORDER II. ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS PRESENT Kai York Kimberly Garcia Stephen Scot Mayer ABSENT Denise York III. PUBLIC COMMENTS There was no public comment. IV. UPCOMING EVENTS A. National Night Out - October 7 The event from 6-9 Discussion held on how the board can be of assistance to the Police Department with the event. B. Brazoria County Master Gardeners Event, October 18 Margaret presented her plan for facilitating the event. Made a request for door prizes and refreshments. 10-11 am C. Trunk or Treat - October 24 (Tentative) Discussion held on event and how the board will participate. D. Fall Sweep 2025 The board discussed dates and locations. Motion to hold is on the 8th of November steve, kimmie all in favor will hold 9-11 V. YARD OF THE MONTH Brazos Crossing Steve will choose VI. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS  A. Discuss and consider development of an Adopt a Garden Bed or Friends of the Garden program. Margaret presented. B. Discuss and consider plan for gazebo repair project. Margaret presented information. Motion to move foward with PW to complete repairs to Kimberly, steve all in favor, passed C. Discuss and consider the purchase of additional Keep Richowod Beautiful and Community Garden t- shirts. Margaret presented the idea Steve motioned to authorize the director to maintain 5 of each size t-shirt. Steve, Kim All in favor pass D.
