BE IT KNOWN THAT, a Keep Richwood Beautiful Commission Regular Meeting of City of
Richwood was held November 5, 2020, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Richwood City Hall
Richwood City Hall, 1800 N. Brazosport Blvd., Richwood, Texas 77531
I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m.
II. ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS
Brittany Figaro: Present
Sonia Foger: Present
Janet Jackson-Ellis: Present
Audrey Johnson: Present
Tara Riley: Absent
Also, in attendance, Kimberly Mayer, Executive Director and Kirsten Garcia, City Secretary;
Melissa Strawn, City Council Liaison
III. PUBLIC COMMENTS
There was no public comment.
IV. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Approval of Minutes
1. Regular meeting held October 6, 2020
Motion to approve the minutes as written. This motion, made by Janet
Jackson-Ellis and seconded by Audrey Johnson, Passed.
Yea: 4, Nay: 0
V. REPORT ON RECENT EVENTS
A. Trunk or Treat - October 24, 2020
Kim reported that we served over 200 cars. The public really enjoyed the event!
Sonia suggested we number locations to have cars drive to for the future.
Brittany reported that Nicole Yaklin offered a parking lot to us to use for next year.

VI. UPCOMING EVENTS
A. November Fall Sweep - November 7, 2020
Kim reported that BeBe's barnyard had to cancel due to health issu requested
assistance getting supplies to the Community Garden
B. Christmas in the Park
Brittany reported that this will be a drive thru event and gave details of the event.
VII. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS
A. Discussion and possible action regarding the Art Wall
Kimberly reported status of the Art Wall
B. Discussion and action regarding Yard of the Month
No yard of the month for November - will pick up in December with decorating
contest.
VIII. FINANCIAL REPORT
Kirsten reported the computer system wasn't showing up to date information and she would
email the report out to members.
IX. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Kimberly reported :
Pumpkins were harvested from the garden, needed guidance on what to do with them. The
committee would like to see them given out.
Affiliate recognition information.
Yard of the Month - decision needs to be made on how we will select the decorated yard
award.
Veterans Day - needs help with flags - Monday the 9th at 10:00am
Update on Dollar General - they have been e-mailed and she went in and spoke to the store
manager, didn't get a good response.
Community Garden - working on a rule sign for the garden.
Bench Dedication - possibly for future agenda items, resident would like to dedicate a bench
to his late wife.
