Minutes of Planning Commission Special Meeting of Monday, April 8, 2019 BE IT KNOWN THAT, a Special Meeting of the Planning Commission of City of Richwood was held Monday, April 8, 2019, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Richwood City Hall, 1800 N. Brazosport Blvd. Richwood, Texas. I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m. II. INVOCATION Michael Coon led the invocation. III. PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE Pledge of Allegiance & Texas Pledge Katie Johnson led the pledges. IV. ROLL CALL OF COUNCIL MEMBERS Mark Guthrie, Mayor -ABSENT Mike Johnson Frank Blanks Sarah Reed Mark Brown II Katie Johnson, Mayor Pro-tem Others present: Michael Coon, City Manager; Lindsay Koskiniemi, Finance Director; Clif Custer, Public Works Director; Giani Cantu, City Secretary V. PUBLIC COMMENTS All public comments will be subject to the following rules: all speakers will be permitted to speak no longer than 3 minutes; all speakers will only be permitted to speak once; speakers cannot defer their 3 minutes to another speaker; the first five individuals who sign up for the public comment section will be permitted to speak No public Comments. VI. APPROVAL OF MINUTES On motion by Sarah Reed second by Frank Blanks with all in present members voting “aye” the minutes of March 11, 2019 were approved. VII. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS  A. Preliminary review and action of re-plat of Lots 167 & 168; Block 1 of Oakwood Shores Subdivision Section 1, also known as 33311 and 33319 Blue Marlin Drive Mark Wartella stated he purchased two lots and would like to combine so that he can build the house in the middle of both lots. Mr. Coon reported that initial review of preliminary plans do show some updates needed. Those have been reported to the surveyor and home owner and corrections will need to be made prior to the final approval. On motion by Mark Brown II second by Sarah Reed with all present members voting “aye” preliminary approval of replat of lots 167 and 168, Block 1 of Oakwood Shores Subdivision Section 1, also known as 33311 and 33319 Blue Marlin Drive was granted. VIII.
