The Community Police Review Commission was created in order to promote public confidence in the professionalism and accountability of the sworn staff of the Riverside Police Department. The Community Police Review Commission will conduct an in-person and virtual meeting. Face coverings are strongly recommended regardless of vaccination status. The City maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, and retaliation in compliance with new harassment and discrimination laws. ******* State law and the City of Riverside Municipal Code Sunshine Ordinance (Section 4.05.050) restricts the Community Police Review Commission from taking action on an item unless it has been included on an agenda and posted at least 12 days in advance of a meeting or unless the matter falls within one of the narrow exceptions. Consequently, any item not listed on this agenda will normally have to be delayed until the item can be made part of a posted agenda.
