City of Riverside Page 1 Cultural Heritage Board Agenda December 15, 2021 Pursuant to the City Council Meeting Rules adopted by Resolution No. 23618, members of all Boards and Commissions and the public are reminded that they must preserve order and decorum throughout the meeting. In that regard, members of all Boards and Commissions, as well as the public participants are advised that any delay or disruption in the proceedings or a refusal to obey the orders of the City Council, Boards and Commissions, or their presiding officer constitutes a violation of these rules. The City of Riverside is committed to fostering a respectful workplace that requires all employees and external stakeholders to embrace a culture of transparency and inclusivity. This includes acceptable behavior from everyone; a workplace that provides dignity, respect, and civility to our employees, customers, and the public they serve. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items will be acted upon with one motion and without discussion as recommended by the Planning Division unless a member of the Cultural Heritage Board requests that an item be considered individually. Prior to voting on the Consent Calendar, the Chairperson will ask the Board if any item need be discussed. 2 The minutes of October 20, 2021 and November 17, 2021 to be presented for approval. Ferguson (Business) and S. Lech (Illness) and the November 17, 2021 absence of Board Member M. Carter due to Business. DISCUSSION CALENDAR This portion of the Cultural Heritage Board Agenda is for all matters where staff and public participation is anticipated. Individual audience participation is limited to 3 minutes. City of Riverside Page 3 Cultural Heritage Board Agenda December 15, 2021 4 PLANNING CASE DP-2021-01377 (COA): Certificate of Appropriateness request by Angela Ponce of Integrity Housing, for the adaptive reuse of the former Texaco Service Station (eligible as a City Landmark), construction of an approximately 500 square foot accessory building, and various site improvements. The project site is located at 3102 Main Street, situated at the southeast corner of Main and First Streets, in Ward 1. It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board determine the proposal is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Sections 15301 (Existing Facilities), 15303 (New Construction of Small Structures), and 15331 (Historic Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation), as it constitutes rehabilitation of a historic resource that is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
