The Commission fosters mutual understanding and respect between people, encourages education and outreach and develops and promotes programs which work to eliminate prejudice and discrimination. The City of Riverside wishes to make all of its public meetings accessible to the public. From this list, staff to coordinate speakers to present at monthly Commission meetings. 6 Designate an amount not to exceed $3,000 to support educational curriculum within the Riverside and Alvord Unified School Districts that aligns with the mission of the Human Relations Commission.
