Attachments: Minutes 4 Human Relations Commission Attendance - That the Human Relations Commission excuse the February 25, 2021 absence of Commissioner Armster. PRESENTATIONS 5 Riverside Police Department Chief Gonzalez to present the Commission with statistics on use of force in the City of Riverside by race and City ward/location. The Human Relations Commission will receive and file the presentation. Attachments: HRC Presentation UOF 03.25.2021 DISCUSSION CALENDAR 6 Commission standing discussion on ways to mark monthly commemorative dates by formal letter, statement, activity, and/or event. Each month the Commission will determine which method is best suited for commemorating the various dates of significance. Attachments: Dates of Commemoration 7 Commission discussion on the creation of a formal letter to the City Council that calls for a city-wide condemning of the recent increase in violent acts towards Asian-Americans. Attachments: Staff Report 8 Prioritization of the 17 future agenda items requested of staff by the Human Relations Commission. Discussion and direction by the Commission will result in a master calendar of agenda items for the remainder of 2021.
