Attachments: Minutes 3 Human Relations Commission Attendance - That the Human Relations Commission excuse the May 27, 2021 absence of Commissioners Kanatzar, Shirley, Bennett and Ayra.. PRESENTATIONS 4 Ms. Rose Mayes to present on behalf of the African American Historical Society for the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial enhancement project on Main Street and 9th Street. Ms. Mayes is joined by Ms. Liz Zuloaga from PCH Architects. Attachments: MLK Memorial Project DISCUSSION CALENDAR 5 Commission standing discussion on ways to mark monthly commemorative dates by formal letter, statement, activity, and/or event. Each month the Commission will determine which method is best suited for commemorating the various dates of significance. Attachments: Dates of Commemoration 6 Commission to discuss the feasibility of having a regular agenda standing item to spotlight non-profit organizations that are furthering diversity, inclusivity, and equal treatment in Riverside in an effort to bring community awareness to such organizations and find ways in which the Commission can partner with organizations to further the Commission's goals. 7 Commission discussion and action on the allocation of remaining funds in the Human Relations Commission budget for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year. Funds can be allocated in one amount or separated into specific amounts. Discussion leading to decision and action must be taken at the June 24, 2021 meeting as funds will expire on July 1, 2021.
