Approval of June 2024 Agenda Staff requested to modify the agenda to remove the item for reappointment of David Clonts. Clonts made a motion to approve the agenda with modification, which was seconded by Boss. The agenda was approved by common consent. Approval of Minutes from March 2024 Blalock made a motion to approve, which was seconded by Boss. The minutes were approved by common consent. CITY OF ROME CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS APPLICATIONS: COA824-24: 508 E 1st St. Between the Rivers Historic District Director Wood presented the staff report and the application to the Commission and the public. Chair Clonts opened the public hearing. Ryan Murphy spoke in favor of the application and was available to answer questions. No one was present to speak in opposition. Chair Clonts closed the public hearing and opened it up for Commission comments. 1 Boss made the motion to approve the request, which was seconded by both Blalock and Moss. The motion passed 5-0. The meeting adjourned at 2:37 pm by common consent. Next Public meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission: There will not be a meeting in July. The next regular monthly meeting will be Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 2:30 pm, in the Commission Chambers in City Hall, 601 Broad Street.
