Approval of September 2024 Agenda There were no modifications to the agenda. Blalock made a motion to approve, which was seconded by Moss. The agenda was approved by common consent. Approval of Minutes from August 2024 Boss made a motion to approve, which was seconded by Blalock. The minutes were approved by common consent. CITY OF ROME CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS APPLICATIONS: COA827-24: 727 Avenue A NE Avenue A Historic District HPC/Associate Planner Harris presented the staff report and the application to the Commission and the public. Chair Boss opened the public hearing. Beth Dunay spoke in favor of the application and was available to answer questions regarding the project. Joel Horton was present as well. No one was present to speak in opposition. 1 Chair Boss closed the public hearing and opened it up for Commission comments. Blalock made the motion to approve the request, which was seconded by Moss. The motion passed 5-0. ADJOURNMENT: Blalock made a motion to adjourn, which was seconded by Moss. The meeting adjourned at 2:43 pm by common consent. Next Public meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission: The next regular monthly meeting will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 2:30 pm, in the Commission Chambers in City Hall, 601 Broad Street.
