CITY OF ROOSEVELT PARK CITY COUNCIL/RECREATION & PARKS COMMITTEE JOINT MEETING MEETING MINUTES May 23, 2023 City Council work session was called to order by Mayor Aaron Langlois at 6:15 p.m. PRESENT: Council Members: Mayor Aaron Langlois, Mayor Pro-Tem Sutton, Greg Neiser, Stacey Burmeister, Diane Goodman, Noah Crossno, Fawn Cruz STAFF: City Manager Jared Olson, City Clerk Ann Wisniewski ABSENT: None ROLL CALL City Clerk Ann Wisniewski called roll call. WORK SESSION C Council discussed Agenda Items: • List of Bills CONSENT AGENDA Council Member Crossno moved to approve the consent agenda. This motion was supported by Mayor Pro-Tem Sutton. Roll Call: 7 Ayes, 0 Nays, 0 Absent Recreation and Parks Committee Meeting was called to order by Noah Crossno at 6:17 p.m. PRESENT: Commissioner Members: Mayor Aaron Langlois, Noah Crossno, Lauren Biksacky, Jessica Lambert, Tiffany Dugger; Karly Smothers ABSENT: Jeff Grossenbacher Roll Call City Clerk Ann Wisniewski called roll call. NEW BUSINESS: Both the City Council members and the Recreation and Parks Commission members, along with staff and a few residents boarded a 30 passenger trolly to head out and visit the following parks: • Post Road Park • Sherwood Park  • Fordham Park • Community Center Park • Hidden Park • Carsell Park • Wells Park • Open Space (future bike trail location) • Lambert Park Purpose of the visits were to determine the needs, upgrades and dreams for all the parks. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Langlois moved to adjourn the Council meeting at 8:15 p.m. This motion was supported by Mayor Pro Tem Sutton and carried unanimously. Noah Crossno moved to adjourn the Recreation and Parks Commission meeting at 8:16 pm. This motion was supported by Commissioner Dugger and carried unanimously. Ann Wisniewski, City Clerk
