Council consideration to adopt a Traffic Control Order resolving that due to the high volume of pedestrian traffic on PFC Wetzel adjacent to Roseville City Hall (29777 Gratiot) a stop sign is required 15 feet west of the newly constructed parking area. The stop sign will also allow safe ingress and egress of these parking spaces. COUNCILMAN KURMMELL KNOX moved, COUNCILWOMAN CATHERINE HAUGH seconded to amend agenda by adding Item h) Approval of Employment Agreement for Deputy Treasurer to the Consent Agenda. PRESENTATIONS • Police Department Badging Ceremony Jason Grillo Colin Titcombe The police Department Badging Ceremony has been postponed until January 2022. 3 Regular City Council Meeting November 9, 2021 VIII. Zelmanski reported the following: • Thank you to all Election workers and Clerk’s Office Staff members: Deputy City Clerk Debra M. Croud, Jackie Crimboli and Jackie Grys for their hard work on Election Day. • Thank you to the citizens of Roseville. b) City Attorney Tim Tomlinson had nothing to report. c) City Manager Scott Adkins reported the following: • Thank you to the City Clerk’s staff • Congratulations to all newly elected officials. • Discussed the “Shop Local” program ends this Friday at 4:30 p.m. • December 9th a Drive Thru Holiday Spectacular and Tree Lighting will take place at City Hall more information will be on the city website soon. • Gratiot construction is still on schedule. 4 Regular City Council Meeting November 9, 2021 d) Reports of Department Head: • Jackie Harvey, Roseville Public Library Director reported on programs such as Digi-Books, Hot Spot borrowing, and S.T.E.M. kits and encouraged the public to visit the library. XIII. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION BY CITY COUNCIL Mayor Robert Taylor and City Council thanked the citizens of Roseville for their support, and thanked City Clerk Jennifer A. Zelmanski and the Clerk’s Office staff for their work on Election Day.
