Minutes of the Cemetery Board Meeting Tuesday, April 20, 2021 REGULAR MEETING 4:00 P.M Committee Member Present: Jack Ferguson, President Jim Bloodhart, Vice President Jeremy Hurley, Secretary Juan Oropesa, Liaison Committee Members Absent: Danny Fulkerson, Member Staff Present: Ruben Esquivel, Cemetery Superintendent Call to Order President, Jack Ferguson, called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m. Committee members present Hurley, Bloodhart, and Oropesa. Approval of Agenda Mr. Bloodhart moved to approve the agenda as presented. Mr. Hurley seconded. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion carried, the April 20, 2021 agenda was approved. Approval of Minutes Mr. Hurley made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bloodhart to approve the minutes of the February 18, 2020 meeting. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion carried. Non-Action Items 2. Sexton’s Report- Superintendent Ruben Esquivel reported 368 services for 2020 for both South Park Cemetery and General Douglas McBride Veteran’s Cemetery. Lowest month for 2020 was April with 19 services and highest was December with 54. For 2021, there was 48 services for January, 32 for February, and 37 for March. As of April 20, 2021, 21 services had been worked. 3. Bookkeeper’s Report- Mr. Esquivel reported 16 transfers, 34 lot sales, 9 pay offs, and 15 contracts as the yearly totals for 2020. For January, February, and March of 2021 there had been 2 transfers, 15 lot sales, 3 pay offs, and 7 contracts. As of April 20, 2021, totals were 2 transfers, 3 lot sales, and 3 contracts. Public Comments None Adjourn The meeting was adjourned at 4:33 p.m. Next Meeting Date Next meeting to be held May 18, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
