Minutes of the Cemetery Board Meeting Tuesday, August 16, 2022 REGULAR MEETING 4:00 P.M Committee Member Present: Jack Ferguson, President Jim Bloodhart, Vice President Danny Fulkerson, Member Jake Trujillo, Member Committee Member Absent: Jeremy Hurley, Secretary Juan Oropesa, Liaison Staff Present: Ruben Esquivel, Cemetery Superintendent Daisy Diaz, Cemetery Administrative Assistant Call to Order President, Jack Ferguson, called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m. Committee members present Bloodhart, Trujillo, and Fulkerson. Approval of Agenda Mr. Fulkerson moved to approve the agenda as presented. Mr. Bloodhart seconded. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion carried, the August 16, 2022 agenda was approved. Approval of Minutes Mr. Bloodhart made a motion, seconded by Mr. Trujillo to approve the minutes of the July 19, 2022 meeting. A voice vote was unanimous and the motion carried. Non-Action Items 4. Sexton’s Report- Superintendent Ruben Esquivel reported 31 services for July 16 funerals had taken place as of August 16, 2022. Mr. Esquivel stated that staff is two employees short and would be opening up the positions to start hiring. 5. Bookkeeper’s Report- Mrs. Diaz reported eight lot sales, three transfers, and one pay off for July. Public Comments None Adjourn The meeting was adjourned at 4:47 p.m. Next Meeting Date Next meeting to be held September 20, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
