Call To Order Board Member Cederberg called meeting to order at 12:05 p.m. B. Roll Call Members Present: Megan Cederberg and with Donna Daniel and Melissa Urias participating via GoToMeeting. Members Absent: Marie Manning Guests Present Daniel Cederberg Staff Present: Kathy Lay C. Approval of Agenda and Minutes 1. Member Daniel motioned to approve the agenda for the August 28, 2023 KRB Board meeting. Member Cederberg was the second. Vote: 3-0 motion passed with Members Daniel and Urias participating via GoToMeeting and Member Daniel being absent. 2. Member Daniel motioned to approve the minutes for the July 31, 2023 KRB Board meeting. Member Cederberg was the second. Vote: 3-0 motion passed with Members Daniel and Urias participating via GoToMeeting and Member Daniel being absent. D. Chair Comments, Reports, Announcements 3. FY24 Grant award status- Ms. Lay reported grant agreement for $53,927.26 was fully signed and first half payment for grant has been received. Budget adjustment in progress to credit full grant award to KRB Budget. for the record: Member Marie Manning joined the meeting at 12:14pm via GoToMeeting 4. KAB President’s Circle Status – Ms. Lay reported Keep Roswell Beautiful has achieved Keep America Beautiful President’s Circle Status. 5. Purchases for KR projects – Ms. Lay reported which supplies/items have been purchased. 6. Upcoming Fall Events- Ms. Lay shared reminder that KRB will host a craft table at the Science and Art Festival from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on October 14, and the KRB Fall Community Cleanup 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. October 21 in area in and around Carpenter Park. E. Public Comments – Daniel Cederberg mentioned possible project utilizing AmeriCorps volunteers for trails expansion and improvement working with Spring River Corridor Foundation. for the record: Member Marie Manning left the meeting at 12:33pm via GoToMeeting F.
