Call To Order Board Member Manning called meeting to order at 12:17 p.m. B. Roll Call Members Present: Megan Cederberg, Susan Noyes, and Melissa Urias participating via GoToMeeting. Members Absent: Marie Manning Guests Present: Beth Chepen Staff Present: Kathy Lay C. Approval of Agenda and Minutes 1. Member Urias motioned to approve the agenda for the May 20, 2024 KRB Board meeting. Member Cederberg was the second. Vote: 3-0 motion passed with Member Urias participating via GoToMeeting and Member Manning being absent. 2. Member Urias motioned to approve the minutes for the March 25, 2024 KRB Board meeting. Member Cederberg was the second. Vote: 3-0 motion passed with Member Urias participating via GoToMeeting and Member Manning being absent. D. Chair Comments, Reports, Announcements 3. Update on Great American Cleanup – Ms. Lay reported that there were 28 volunteers and 25 City staff from parks and sanitation present and the weight slip was 1,900 lbs. for the trash collected. for the record: Member Marie Manning joined the meeting at 12:28pm via GoToMeeting 4. Update on FY24 KRB grant projects – Ms. Lay reported all grant funded projects have been completed and reminded everyone that ribbon cutting for the grant funded mural will be Saturday May 25 at 10:30am at the zoo train tunnel entrance. 5. Report on Fall dates – Ms. Lay reported that the Fall Science and Art Festival is scheduled for Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Fall Community Cleanup event is scheduled for Oct. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 2024. Public Comments – Ms. Lay reminded everyone that there is currently a board vacancy and also noted that Member Cederberg is planning on stepping down soon due to busy schedule, so there will be a second board vacancy soon. She requested current board to share board application with those who may be interested in applying. E. Adjourn Meeting adjourned at 12:35 p.m.
