Call To Order Board Member Cederberg called meeting to order at 12:13 p.m. B. Roll Call Members Present: Megan Cederberg, with Susan Noyes and Melissa Urias participating via GoToMeeting Members Absent: Marie Manning Guests Present: Terri Harber via GoTo Meeting Staff Present: Kathy Lay C. Approval of Agenda and Minutes 1. Member Urias motioned to approve the agenda for the June 24, 2024 KRB Board meeting. Members Noyes was the second. Vote: 3-0 motion passed with Member Urias and Noyes participating via GoToMeeting and Member Manning being absent. 2. Member Urias motioned to approve the minutes for the May 20, 2024 KRB Board meeting. Member Noyes was the second. Vote: 3-0 motion passed with Members Urias and Noyes participating via GoToMeeting and Member Manning being absent. D. Chair Comments, Reports, Announcements 3. Update on cleanup activity – Ms. Lay reported that there was a cleanup supply request from an individual using the City website cleanup supply request form. Also, volunteers from Target did a community cleanup in downtown Roswell on June 21 and they plan to do another in August. 4. Update on FY24 KRB and FY25 grants – Ms. Lay reported the grant coordinator asked for an itemized receipt to replace one that was not itemized on a meal at the KAB conference for the FY24 reimbursement request. That has been done. For the FY25 grant, they should be sending award notice earlier than last year, anticipating notification in mid to late July. 5. Report on Fall dates – Ms. Lay reported that she spoke with the Hispano Chamber Board Vice-President and he was very positive about partnering again this year for the Fall Cleanup. He will check with their board and let KRB know. 6. Reminder open KRB Board Positions – Ms. Lay reminded everyone that KRB is seeking two new board members at this time to fill current and upcoming vacancies. for the record: Member Marie Manning joined the meeting at 12:15pm via GoToMeeting Public Comments – Ms. Lay shared about the Ruidoso emergency evacuation volunteer opportunities in Roswell.
