CALL TO ORDER The Occupancy Tax Board Workshop was called to order at 2:30 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Members present; Kerry Moore, Joe Desjardins and Bonnie Bitzer. With Member Justin Jones being absent. C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Bonnie Bitzer motioned to approve the agenda. Joe Desjardins was the second. The motion passed 3-0 with member Justin Jones absent. D. OTHER BUSINESS /NON ACTION ITEMS / INFOMRATION ITEMS / REPORTS 1. Reports; Lodgers’ Tax, Convention Center 2. American Rescue Plan tourism recovery, next steps proposals. Stephanie Mervine, reviewed Lodgers’ Tax and Convention Center reports. Kerry Moore, recapped the tourism recovery items discussed to include; Botanical Gardens, Entrance to the Zoo, Completion of the Zoo Pond, RV Glamping, Alien App, Heritage App, Miniature Golf development, Tourism Beautification around the City, Murals, Selfie Stations. Tourism Beautification around the City discussion as next steps proposals. E. ADJOURN The meeting was adjourned at 3:03 p.m. The next scheduled meeting is June 15, 2021.
