Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center Board of Directors Minutes Held in the Chaves County Administration Building Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 1:35 p.m. The meeting convened with Phil Smith presiding and Steve Polasek, Brit Snyder, Devin Graham, Monte Baker, Stan Riggs, Dennis Kintigh being Present. Others attending were Karen Sanders, Mike Mathews, Tracy Laney, Shane Baker, Daniel Ornelas, James Salas, Mike Stanton, Alison Herring, Jason Sweatfield, and Angelo Gurule. A motion to approve the minutes from 9.2.2015 was tabled By Steve Polasek. Due to the Snow Storm Tracy Laney did not get to meet with the Roswell City Clerk, Sharon Coll for additional instruction on preparing meeting minutes. He will do that before the next meeting. Staffing report Tracy Laney stated that PVRCC currently has 4 openings and 4 names were submitted to HR last week to be hired. Emergency Notification System Tracy Laney stated that the Civic Ready system was selected and we have started the process of implementing it. Digital radio Project Tracy Laney stated the Motorola 700MHZ system has been working better than anticipated. When the CCSO did their drive tests they found that it worked right alongside the Nexedge VHF system in regards to coverage area and voice quality. The P25 VHF Radios should have been ready by today but we have not received them yet. Announcement Next meeting February 3, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Adjournment The meeting adjourned at 1435 Hrs.
