Acquisition Committee Meeting Minutes November 18, 2013 @ 3:30 P.M. RMAC – Bassett Auditorium MEMBERS PRESENT: Joyce Tucker, Tom Tutor, Ivan Hall OTHERS PRESENT: Stephen Vollmer, Sara Woodbury, Barbara Patterson CALL TO ORDER: 3:30 P.M. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Tom Tutor moved to accept the agenda, Ivan Hall seconded, all were in favor and the motion carried without dissent. COMMITTEE CHAIR REMARKS: Joyce Tucker: Opening remarks on the discussion of the Committee’s charge to meet on the proposal of a gift to the Roswell Museum and Art Center from the RMAC Foundation, I Told You to Turn Left, Aria Finch, 2012. JUSTIFICATION: Presented by Sara Woodbury, Curator of Collections Discussion on the acquisition of the aforementioned work as an appropriate piece to be included in the RMAC collection. Object under consideration: I Told You to Turn Left, Aria Finch, 2012. A proposed gift to the Roswell Museum and Art Center from the RMAC Foundation. COMMITTEE VOTE: Tom Tucker moved that the proposal to accept the offer of a gift from the RMAC Foundation be approved and advanced to the Board of Trustees, Ivan Hall seconded, all were in favor and the motion carried without dissent. A.Q.C. meeting adjourned: Tom Tucker moved that the Acquisition Committee adjourn, the motion was seconded by Ivan Hall, all were in favor and the motion carried without dissent.
