A. CALL TO ORDER Board Chair Liakos called the meeting of the Board of Trustees to order at 4:01 p.m. B. ROLL CALL The meeting of the Board of Trustees convened with members Cymantha Liakos, Donovan Fulkerson, Kyle Bayless Lorrina Segovia and Valli West being present at the Museum and member Tim Hartwick being present via GoTo Meeting. A quorum was established with members Bill Siders, Anne Baker, Priscilla Ornelas, and Kay Cargill Jenkins being absent. Staff present: Caroline Brooks, Executive Director, Cindy Torrez, RMAC Foundation Executive Director, and Wendy Cook, Public Programs Manager. Community members present: Larry Connolly. C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Member Segovia motioned to approve the agenda. Member West seconded. A voice vote was 6-0 and the motion passed with members Siders, Baker, Orneals and Jenkins being absent. D. APPROVAL OF June 21, 2021 MINUTES Member Segovia motioned to approve the minutes for the June 21, 2021 meeting. Member West seconded. A voice vote was 6-0 and the motion passed with members Siders, Baker, Orneals and Jenkins being absent. For the Record: Member Jenkins joined the meeting at 4:03p.m. INFORMATION ONLY E. DIRECTORS REPORT: See attached F. RMAC FOUNDATION REPORT RMAC Foundation Director Torrez shared that the foundation is currently working on two fall fundraising events, one for September and the Holiday Artisan Market in partnership with the Pecos Valley Potters Guild in December. G. CHAIR’S REMARKS AND BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS Director Brooks was asked about the status of the entrance and store renovation project. She shared that she hoped the RFP process would begin by next month, but that it would take several months before that process would be completed. Director Brooks was also asked about the new logo status. She shared that the new logo was completed and approved and she expected a city lead launch event to occur this fall. H. PUBLIC COMMENT Larry Connolly shared that an effort is being made to re-start the community night out events. I. ADJOURN Member Segovia motioned to adjourn the meeting. Member West seconded. A voice vote was 7-0 and the motion passed with members Siders, Baker, and Orneals being absent.
