RESOLUTION NO. 919
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROY, PIERCE
COUNTY, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A SIX YEAR COMPREHENSIVE
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
10) OLD BUSINESS:
a) 4th of July Parade (previously provided)
b) Senior Outreach was held Wednesday June 30th
11) NEW BUSINESS:
a) Training expense (Springbrook program) need council approval
$1790.00
b) Please welcome 2 new staff members:
Annie Carson – Deputy Clerk
Theron Perry – Public Works Assistant
c) Next community event will be a vaccination clinic, August 11th.
d) ARPA fiscal recovery grant awarded $229,450.00
e) ADA door installation tentatively set for 7/26/21
f) Council to review application for Council Vacancy Position 1. Upon
approval of application, council to decide if vacancy appointment will
be confirmed 7/26/2021 with oath administered or postpone to
8/23/2021
g) PSRC communication regarding Forever Green Trails Grant

h) Delinquent water account announcement! Proclamation 20.23-16
expires at 11:59pm 9/30/2021. We will be making 2 forms of
communication (phone and mail) with customers in arrears. We
encourage customers who are behind to get onto a payment plan
before the expiration of the moratorium to avoid disconnection of
services. Please refer to RCC 9-2-6, or ORD 987
Reminder: Council Meetings will be held the 4th Monday of the month at
6:30p.m. until further notice. The next meeting will be August 23rd, 2021. As
of now, this meeting will be held in person; however, we will continue to
provide the online option.
