The meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm.

5.a Discussion of 2025 Artist Laureate Decision

The group is most interested Godofredo Gannod.
To the rest of the applicants, the group would like staff to include in the
email: "May we include you in our email list of artists to reach out to for the
next opportunities to apply to Art Explored, the Royal Oak Art Fair booths,
and next year's Artist Laureate program?"
Susan Barkman brought up that the Civic Foundation is interested in
funding a specific project for the CFA. Perhaps this could help be a
funding source if Godofredo's project goes over the $10,000 the Artist
Laureate is allocated.

7. Subcommittee/Program Reports
The Share the Warmth project is going well thanks to Denise Reske.
Laura Bonnell suggested getting a video of all the projects the CFA is working on
throughout the year. Susan Barkman said CMN could take care of the production
aspect of this. Susan will at some point call CMN and get a quote for this.
The group would like to pass a motion at next month's meeting regarding funding
for this.

In November the Commission for the Arts approved the 2025 annual meeting schedule. Staff
needs to adjust three meetings as follows:
Monday, June 23 to June 16
Monday, September 22 to September 15
Monday, November 24 to November 17
Staff requests that the commission approve the date changes shown above.
Below are the remaining dates for the meetings with the location for your reference.
