MINUTES PARKS, RECREATION AND SENIOR ADVISORY BOARD Thursday, April 7, 2016 – 7:00 p.m. Mahany-Meininger Senior Community Center - 3500 Marais MEMBERS PRESENT: Matt Harmon, Paul Kanan, Andrea Makar, Mike Ripinski, Jill Robinson and Mark Ryan ALSO PRESENT: Greg Rassel, Director of Rec. & Public Service MEMBERS EXCUSED: Commissioner Fournier, Mallory Campbell, Amanda Klein, Todd Menig and Tod Gazetti, Superintendent of Recreation Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m. I. Approval of Minutes: Motion by Ryan, seconded by Robinson, to approve the minutes of March 3, 2016. Motion passed unanimously. II. City Commission Comments: Commissioner Fournier was excused for the April meeting. III. Public Comment: Mrs. Ripinski on presentation of City Hall project IV. Business: a. Presentation of the Royal Oak Civic Center Proposal by Ron Boji b. Roots Membership and appointment of Jill Robinson – motion by Ryan, seconded by Kanan. Motion passed unanimously V. Upcoming Events: ROSL Opening Day: June 5th @ Noon; Memorial Park VI. Next Meeting – September 8, 2016 @ 7:00 p.m. @ Mahany-Meininger Community Center Motion by Harmon and seconded by Ryan to adjourn at 7:45 p.m. Motion passed unanimously.
