Introductions: II. Approval of Minutes: Motion Commissioner Macey, 2nd Michael Lawrence, unanimously approved. III. City Commission Comments: ARPA money have a meeting on Nov. 29th with the City Commission on discussing decisions made from public engagement. Work is happening at Centennial Commons in preparation for the ice rink. IV. Public Comment: Patrick McGee – met Noah at Trick o Treating and did a fabulous job with the event. Would like to see the event get bigger. Master plan, focus on page 47, Elks Park. Items that are not included that are critical. Should include, parking lot, sandbox, restroom facilities, specify size of soccer field, play structure section a catalog of equipment i.e. 0-2, 5-12 etc. Elks Park light over the play structure, trying to get light replaced for 2 years. Janice Wagman – impressed with the master plan, pictures, detail etc. Few suggestions, parks are put in alphabetical order. Don’t understand reason for this.  Would like to see in geographical order instead. Facebook question, where is the best park to go for toddlers, perhaps note this in plan. End Public Comment IV. Business: a. Bicycle Day - Timothy Pare – presents Bicycle Day Royal Oak. Very few cycling events in Royal Oak, due to cost, set up etc. Presents a slow roll, not a defined start time/line. Participants can come and go as they please and lined with flower which will fade after a couple of days. 8 mile long course starting 9 am to 1 pm. Ask parks department to publish event in Insight, online, website etc. Will serve as event organizer. - Johns document represents an organized slow roll with similar items presented by Timothy Pare. Would like to see it more structured. - Commissioner Macey shares an e-mail from absent board member Joseph Vukich. Does feel as if it needs some structure, been apart of Detroit’s Slow Roll and does need some structure. Joseph Vukich plans to do another slow roll during the same time and thinks maybe another day/time for this one. b. Master Plan Draft - McKenna presents draft to board of master plan. Draft plan will be released Nov. 11 for the 30-day public comment period. c. Dog Park Sarah Kindinger d. Hudson Park Concept Designs Commissioner Macey concerned about parking if park gets nicer soccer field, play structure. Alternative shade structure/more trees around area. Samantha Grant makes a motion to recommend option A, 2nd by Commissioner Macey. Unanimously approved. Samantha Grant makes a motion to recommend a full size basketball court, second by Vincent Brown. Unanimously approved. e. Senior Center Report John’s Statement Sarah Kindinger – Public comment for aging in place task for has closed. f.
