Ex-Officio Report Working on SEP's for upcoming events. 6. Chairperson Report The VEC will be accepting new members due to Arbor Laclave stepping down after moving out of state. 1 7. Old Business 8.a Memorial Day Parade 8.b Field of Honor 9. New Business 9.a Veterans Day November 11, 2025 Begin to talk about speakers/chaplains and the layout of the event. Work on the flyer to have it completed early and passed out to businesses. 9.b Ruck 22 March Begin to talk about speakers at the event. Would like to have them picked at next meeting. Fundraising efforts for this year's Ruck to get sponsors. Donating food to Chapter 154 and the John D. Dingell VA Hospital. Begin to work on the flyers to be passed out to local businesses. Bob Jurva to figure out coffee/donuts for the event. The idea to have 22 American Flags with a banner placed in the park to represent the 22 daily veteran lives lost to suicide for awareness. 9.c Wreaths Across America, Dec 13, 2025 10.
