1. Case No. 13-03-08 – public hearing on the appeal of Woodward Oaks Associates, LLC,
Petitioners & Owners, for the following variances:
(a) Waive 5 of the minimum required 5 off-street parking spaces;
to permit occupancy in a vacant unit of a shopping center by a fireplace store (Fireplace &
Things); at 30211-30295 Woodward Ave. (parcel no. 25-08-154-003)
GRANTED – 5 to 2 – with following contingencies: (1) additional parking spaces included in SP 12-10-27
completed as previously approved; (2) agreement for additional 2 parking spaces during normal business
hours obtained off-site within one-quarter mile of site with agreement to apply only to fireplace store and
no other future tenant of shopping center.
