AIP Grant FY-19 Update- Bob Chatman – Submitted to FAA waiting on authorization. Expect 6 – 8 weeks to complete lighting. Overlay should only require closing the runway for 3 or 4 days. 2. State Report of Economic Impact of Airports. - Received report. Discussed at last meeting. Economic impact has doubled since 2010. 3. Rockin ’ The Runway – Scheduled for September 21. Three bands have scheduled along with several acts – High School Dance Team, Tina ’s Gymnastics, and Bump & Jump, and the High School Jazz Band. Hope to have aircraft on display. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Hangar Purchase Update – Contacted appraisal Company. Expect appraisal to be completed in about a week. The Finance Committee & Economic Development are supportive. 2. Business Development Update- Chairman Talburt – Ed Ingold is working toward providing a aircraft repair station. David Long who assembles light sport aircraft is considering relocating to Russellville. Tim Hass who has an Avionics Service in Minnesota is thinking about opening a branch here at Russellville. MISCELLANEOUS: : 1. Ed Ingold is currently doing Prop Balancing at Russellville. Now applying for a Repair Station License from the FSS. MEETING ADJOURNED : _____6:56_________ PM__ 2
