AIP Grant FY-19 Update- Bob Chatman : All work completed on orginal overlay project. A small amount of c hange order for some additional pipe drainage remains. Lighting project is complete and final pay request has been submitted to FAA. New light/power building, PAPI lights, and LED runway/taxiway lighting complete and in operation. 2. Update on Specialty Propeller Services : Last communication was July 6 th. Phone calls are not being returned. Status is unknown. NEW BUSINESS: . 1. RFQ for Engineering Services review and rec ommendation : Proposals were submitted by Miller-Newell, McClelland, and Crafton-Tull Enginering firms. A g eneral discussion of three applicants followed with individual scoring by the commissioners and submission to Airport Manager. MISCELLANEOUS: 1. Review and discussion of letter to be sent Stanley Ferguson, an ag operat or from Des Arc. Mr. Ferguson come s to KRUE 3-4 annually. He has operated in an unsafe manner for other aircraft traffic by refilling his plane on an active runway and left debris to be cleaned up by airport staff. He as refilled the plane while sitting on an active runway. He brings his own fuel and does not purchase any from KRUE. The letter detailed the unacceptable actions by Mr. Ferguson, listed the areas he may use on the airport, specified he must cleanup after each use, and pay a $300 per day Airport Use Fee. A motion was made and seconded to amend the letter to state the fee will be $300 for a one or two day (consecutive ) use of the KRUE airport. Vote was 4/0 to send the revised letter.
