CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING 5:00 p.m., August 27, 2019 Central Fire Station, El Paso Avenue, Russellville Commissioners: City/Department Representatives: Phillip Lea, Chairman Present Trey Smith, City Attorney Absent Toni Bachman Present Jeff Humphrey, Police Chief Absent Bert Fleck Present Kirk Slone, Fire Chief Absent Jim Horton Absent Brent Hamm, Battalion Chief Present Jason Ramsey Present Tanessa Vaughn, Human Resources Present Ray Watkins Absent Shawn Harris, City Council Liaison Absent Ruben Camacho Present Carey James, Captain Present Meeting Minutes Chairman Phillip Lea called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The Commission reviewed the minutes of the May meeting. Bert Fleck made a motion that the minutes be approved. Toni Bachman seconded the motion and the minutes were approved. Chairman Report Police Department Report Fire Department Report OLD BUSINESS  The Commission reviewed the Police Department Entry Level Applicant Eligibility Document and revised the out-factors regarding entry-level candidates. Bert Fleck made a motion to approve the document and Toni Bachman seconded the motion. All approved. NEW BUSINESS Civil Service Commission Fire  October 5, 2019 tier testing, PAT and interviews at Central Fire Station. October 12, 2019 written exam for entry level firefighters.  Promotional testing December 7, 2019 for rank of Captain. Police  October 5, 2019 entry level testing, PAT and written test. October 12, 2019 oral interviews for entry level. At approximately 5:45 p.m. the meeting adjourned.
