RUSSELLVILLE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MINUTES July 26, 2022, 5:00 p.m., Central Fire Station, Russellville and Online via Google Meets Commissioners: City/Department Representatives: Phillip Lea, Chairman Present Trey Smith, City Attorney, Present Toni Bachman, Present David Ewing, Police Chief, Present Jon Brown, Present Kirk Slone, Fire Chief, Present Ruben Camacho, Absent Brent Moix, Battalion Chief, Present Barbara Horton, Present Tanessa Vaughn, Human Resources, Absent Mark Lykins, Present Meeting Minutes Bachman moved and Lykins seconded motion to approve minutes of May 24, 2022. The Commission approved the minutes. NEW BUSINESS  Fire Department – Dates of September 24 and October 1 were set for new-hire testing.  Chief Moix reported that Wyatt Meyers removed himself from the FD new-hire list. -----------------------------------------------  The Commission elected Commissioner, Jon Brown as Executive Secretary. -----------------------------------------------  Police Department – Chief David Ewing informed the Commission that City Council has approved four new school resource officers. With the previous two openings, there are now six police officer openings.  Lykins moved and Brown seconded motion to enter executive session for discussion of personnel issues related to new-hire list.  The Commission approved an edited Police new-hire list. At 5:34 p.m. meeting adjourned.
