Village of Sackets Harbor Planning Board Regular Meeting July 16, 2025 Call to order Roll call and establish quorum Review Minutes: June 18, 2025 - Regular Meeting Report to Village Board: July 15, 2025 Old Business #24-79 Lawler Commercial Properties, 85 Worth Road, Sackets Harbor. The Site Plan review request for an exterior door installed on the laundromat building without zoning approval was denied in June. Applicant was asked to select an alternative replacement door that is more consistent with the architectural style of buildings within the Madison Barracks National Register District and submit it to the planning board for review, by the July meeting. The applicant has not responded to the request. New Business #25-21 James Bray, for 209 West Main Street, Sackets Harbor. Applicant requests Site Plan review for exterior alterations including reconstruction of the porch and installation of two heat pumps. The project is in the Village Core, the Historic Overlay zoning district as well as the National Register District. A public hearing has been scheduled. #25-24 David Haldeman, 206 West Broad Street, Sackets Harbor. Applicant requests Site Plan review for reconstructing a previous addition on the side of the residence. The project is within the Village Residential and Historic Overlay zoning districts, as wll as the National Register District. A public hearing has been scheduled. Ongoing Items for Consideration/Discussion • Lakeview Subdivision: completing infrastructure and compliance with IA • Finalize the Subdivision and Special Permit Application forms as well as the Historic Review Board and LWRP Coastal Policy review determinations • Acceptable windows and doors for replacement projects within the Historic District NEXT MEETING: August 20, 2025 2
