Village of Sackets Harbor Planning Board Regular Meeting October 15, 2025 Call to order Roll call and establish quorum Review Minutes: September 17, 2025 - Regular Meeting Report to Village Board: October 14, 2025 Old Business #24-79 Lawler Commercial Properties, 85 Worth Road, Sackets Harbor. The Site Plan review request for an exterior door installed on the laundromat building without zoning approval was denied in June. Applicant was asked to select an alternative replacement door more consistent with the architectural style of buildings within the Madison Barracks National Register District and submit it to the planning board for review by the July meeting. The applicant has decided to recondition the previously used wooden door and will work with the ZEO regarding that decision. New Business #25-36 Kassandra Beck, 209 West Main Street, Sackets Harbor. Site Plan review is requested for reuse of existing signage, and the building use is changing from a real estate office to an art studio/community center. The structure is in the Village Core and Historic Overlay zoning districts as well as the National Register District. A public hearing has been scheduled. #25-37 Albany Solar Solutions, LLC for Michael Smith, 326 East Main Street, Sackets Harbor. Site Plan review is requested for installation of a roof mounted solar array. The project is in the Village Residential zoning district and requires Site Plan review. Site Plan review is requested for installation of lighting on the portico ceiling. Subdivision review is requested for final stages of previously approved Harbor Haven Subdivision located on Bianca and Bridget Lanes. Site Plan review is also requested for the homes to be built, located in the Harbor Haven PDD. A public hearing has been scheduled. #25-43, Jason Burto for Nathan Milletta, General Smith Drive, Sackets Harbor. Applicant requests Site Plan review for construction of a home. The property is in the Village Residential and Historic Overlay Districts, as well as the National Register District.
