AGENDA FOR REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL JULY 24, 2024 7:00 PM COURT ROOM OF THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING At approximately 6:30 PM, the Mayor and Council will hold a work session in the Conference Room for the purpose of reviewing agenda items and signing bills. No official action will be taken during this time. Pledge of allegiance and moment of silence. 1. Call to order at 7:00 PM. 2. Public meeting to receive input on how to address public safety concerns. 3. A resolution approving and dispensing with the reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting of July 10, 2024. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 4. A resolution confirming the appointment of Fred Saradin, Salamanca, NY, as Part- time Historical Assistant, effective July 20, 2024, for up to 20 hours per week, at NYS hourly minimum wage. 5. A resolution authorizing the City Comptroller and City Attorney to execute deeds conveying the attached listed subject properties to the City, pursuant to the Salamanca City Charter Section 137. 6. Certain appointments by the Mayor and Common Council. 7. A resolution to waive the agenda rule to consider other items(s), if necessary. a. A resolution accepting the quote of Plyler Entry Systems, Jamestown, NY, for the replacement of six (6) municipal building man doors in the amount of $22,150.00. 8. Communications from the Mayor and Council. 9. Reminder of other meetings – August 6th Fire at 6:30, August 7th IDA at 4:00, August 13th Library at 4:00, August 13th BPU at 6:00, August 14th DPW at 6:00 and the next Regular Council will be August 14th at 7:00. 10. A resolution authorizing payment of the bills as warranted and recommended by the appropriate Commissions and/or Department Heads, the City Comptroller and City Clerk and accept reports. 11.
