Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds Minutes of the December 14, 2017 Meeting Present: Mayor Driscoll, William P. Goreham, Thaddeus Buczko, Sumner Jones and Richard Lobsitz The meeting was called to order by Mayor Driscoll at 5:30 P.M. in the Mayor’s Office City Hall. The Salem Council on Aging submitted a request for two Salem residents to assist with medication expenses. Sumner Jones made a motion to approve $269.98 from the Endicott Fund for the expenses. The motion was seconded by Thaddeus Buczko and voted unanimously. Sumner Jones made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 9, 2017 meeting. The motion was seconded by Richard Lobsitz and voted unanimously. Discussion about the Wills was tabled until the next meeting. The Elizabeth Bookholtz Memorial Fund will be officially closed this month. A letter of instruction will be forwarded to Susan Syversen, Vice President, Eastern Investment Advisors. Perry Halahan attended the meeting and gave a video presentation of the historic events of the Salem Witch Trials. This video will be played at the National Park Amory-visitor center in Salem. He is completing the video which included several sites in Salem. There is one portion of the video dedicated to the Charter Street Burying Grounds. He has requested $1,500.00 for this portion of the video. The Board will wait for his proposal letter and discuss it and any available funding at the next meeting. Two members of the Cemetery Commission also attended the meeting to support his proposal. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:35 P.M. Respectfully submitted, F.
