Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds Minutes of the October 11, 2018 Meeting Present: Mayor Driscoll, William P. Goreham, Thaddeus Buczko and Richard Lobsitz The meeting was called to order by Mayor Driscoll at 5:30PM in the Mayor’s Office, City Hall. The Council on Aging submitted a request for two Salem residents to help them with medication expenses. Richard Lobsitz made a motion to approve $81.00 from the Endicott Fund for the expenses. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously. Richard Lobsitz made a motion to approve the minutes of the September 13, 2018 meeting. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously. The Cemetery Commission submitted a request for $9,500.00 from the Meldon Fund for construction costs for a pollinator garden within Greenlawn Cemetery. Richard Lobsitz made a motion to approve funding as above. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously. Sean Mccrea from the Cemetery Department requested information on the Perpetual Care Fund. William P. Goreham researched the fund for the last two years and said the average amount available each quarter would be approximately $9,350.00. No one from the Cemetery Commission attended the meeting. Several thank you notes were received; two for scholarships and three from Large Grant recipients. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:00 PM. Respectfully submitted: F.
