City of Salem, Massachusetts Office of the City Clerk Ilene Simons City Clerk November 21, 2018 MEETING NOTICE AND AGENDA “Know Your Rights Under the Open Meeting Law, M.G.L. c. 30A ss. 18-25, and City Ordinance Sections 2-2028 through 2-2033.” Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Section 56 of Chapter 40 of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Salem City Council will meet in the City Council Chamber on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 7:00 P.M. to hold a Public Hearing on the issues of allocating the local property tax levy among the four (4) property classes for the Fiscal Year 2019, and the residential, open space, and small commercial exemption options. All Interested Citizens may attend and submit comments. This Public Hearing will take place as part of our regular City Council Meeting to be held on December 6, 2018, at 7:00 P.M.
