Agenda Meeting Called to Order Approval of September Minutes Visitors  Larry Claflin Jr. – Salem Jazz and Soul Festival requesting the use of the Salem Willows August 20-21, 2016 between the hours of 7am-8pm for set up; show times 11:00am-7:15pm  Doreen Wade – Salem United to give an update about planning for the Black Picnic at the Salem Willows for 2016  David Smith – Sail Salem to discuss using the $4,500 owed to the City for the Opti for another purpose, maybe High school Sailing. Requesting permission to use Winter Island for 2016. Permission to run a program of 100 boats June 19-25, 2016 and would like to build a rack for boats  Deborah Greel – Salem Public Art Planner requesting to paint the stairs at Mack Park to resemble piano keys,; a community project. (Deborah has a meeting conflict and Karen Partanen-Park, Recreation and Community Services Director will present her proposal)  Vicky Bramley – Line Producer for Shed Media requesting permission to close the Witch House Wednesday November 4, 2016 for a documentary on historical genealogy for TLC. Offering a $500 donation to offset revenue lost. . (Vicky is from out of state and Karen Partanen-Park, Recreation and Community Services Director will present her proposal) Superintendent’s Report  Revenue Report  Discussion about possible CPC projects to submit for funding consideration  Review a draft standard operating guideline for permitting city parks Parks & Facility  Complaint from anonymous Willows Resident about weekend noise and events  Complaint from Carol MacGown of the Salem Housing Authority about the condition of the Palmer Cove Tennis Courts and fence Old Business New Business Adjournment Next Meeting: December 15, 2015 Karen Partanen Director Parks, Recreation & Community Services Know Your Rights under the Open Meeting Law M.G.L.
