Meeting Called to Order
The meeting called to order at 6:15pm
Introductions & Public Comments:
Youth Commissioners were reminded of the Youth Housing Forum being held on May 9th. Discussed
feedback and experiences on Student Government Day and changes that could be made to improve for
next year.
Previous Meeting Minutes:
No Correction to the minutes – Minutes were approved
Projects:
1. Ideas for fundraisers
a. Parents night, 50/50 raffle, family night, lunch-in, game night, movie night, youth night
out, monthly night at Flatbread (receive portion of earnings),
b. Receive 100% of earnings and they provide food if an event is held at Flatbread
c. Use Roots as a space, Youth Commissioners provide food.
-2nd Drive for Puerto Rico Youth
o Drive will be for school supplies
o April 23 - May 25
Next Meeting: May 14, 2018 at 96 Lafayette Street - conference room - sub-committee meeting
