Attendance :
Laura Assade, Collin McLean, Ashley Blanco, Nick Angeramo, Aiyana Lilly, Lilly Kelley
Meeting Called to Order
The meeting called to order at 6:10pm
Introductions & Public Comments:
-Laura talked to the Mayor about our remodel
-The mayor wants us to be able to do a Salem youth commission leadership camp (like a hike or
project adventure activity)
-Need more help with Salem Summer meals project
Previous Meeting Minutes:
-needed to add Lillie’s name to the attendance list
– Minutes were approved
Sub-Committee Discussion
● Community Engagement
○ -Started making a schedule for the upcoming year
● Public relations
○ Talked about how they should work on things individually as well
○ Having a social media calendar
○ On social media they should talk about the highlights of went on during the meeting
• Recruitment
o guest speakers, workshops, and mini events to encourage attendance
o SYC Birthday Celebration/recognition
Next Meeting: June 26, 2018 at (North Shore CDC) 96 Lafayette Street - conference room
