ID#23-759 Acceptance to Adopt a resolution approving AT& T Services Inc., 445 Airport Blvd. Facility Lease at the Salinas Municipal Airport Recommendation: It is recommended that the Airport Commission recommend the City Council adopt a resolution approving AT&T Services Inc., 445 Airport Blvd. Facility Lease at the Salinas Municipal Airport. ID#23-764 Federal Aviation Administration and Caltrans Division of Aeronautics Grant Funding for Taxilane Rehabilitation Project Phase I, CIP NO. 9354, AIP 37 at the Salinas Municipal Airport. Recommendation: It is recommended that the Airport Commission recommend that the City Council Receive and Approve a resolution to (1) Authorize submittal of the preliminary application for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program Number 3-06-0206-37 (AIP 37); (2) Approve and accept grant offer being received from the FAA and California Department of Transportation Division of Aeronautics (Caltrans), including amendments and change orders consistent with Constitutional and local law requirements; and (3) Authorize and empower the City Manager and or Designee to execute on behalf of the City of Salinas all required documentation with respect to the application for and the acceptance of FAA and Caltrans grant funding for pavement rehabilitation at the Salinas Municipal Airport for CIP No. 9354, AIP 37, upon prior approval as to form by the City Attorney; and (4) Approve Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for the Salinas Municipal Airport Taxilane Rehabilitation Project Phase I, CIP No. 9354, AIP 37; and (5) Authorize Call for Bids, with bids to be opened on March 15, 2024; and (6) Authorize submittal of Final Grant Application to the FAA based on bids.
